This inexpensive and unique device allows the driver of the vehicle towing a Gooseneck Trailer to enjoy many of the riding qualities associated with expensive air ride systems used on many modern day truck/tractors.  BUT increased comfort isn't the only advantage the owner of a Cody Cushion realizes.  It is very important to note the shock absorber effect is extremely beneficial to all the equipment, including the trailer, the tow vehicle and the actual Gooseneck Hitch, as the over-the-road "pounding" action is greatly reduced!!

CAPACITY RATED AT 6000# TONGUE WEIGHT (VERTICAL) AND 35000# GVW.  It is important to note that the GVW of towing vehicle + assumed loaded trailer weight, must remain under the 35000# rating mentioned above.
