A hitch that is quickly and easily installed!  The complete assembly is packed ready for installation - all you need are a few common tools and a 4 1/8" hole saw.

If you have basic mechanical skills and knowledge, you can do this, otherwise the installation should be done by a professional.  Fast easy steps allow you to bolt the cody hitch to the frame rails with NO cutting, welding or bed removal required.

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!  The above illustration shows the bed removed from the vehicle.  It is NOT necessary to remove the bed of your pickup when installing the A050.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE #2!!!  This Cody Hitch is bolted DIRECTLY & SECURELY to the main framework of your pickup.  You will probably agree with the instructional booklet that this is the only way it can and/or should be installed.  This Cody Hitch is designed to be extremely rugged, and it's installation must reflect that.  This brings to mind an old adage that "it is much better to be safe than sorry".

Tundra Installation

THE CODY UNIVERSAL GOOSENECK HITCH IS EQUIPPED WITH THE SIMPLE AND PATENTED REVERSIBLE BALL THAT HAS LONG BEEN SO POPULAR.  It can be changed from storage position to towing position by one simple 30 degree twisting action.  It is this same twisting action that securely locks the ball in the latched position, thus eliminating an important safety hazard.  The "straight thru" design allows dirt and water to pass through, reducing freeze-up problems.

A 35,000 pound gross trailer weight and 7500 pound gross tongue weight rating is achieved with a heavy DUAL/BOXED beam center section formed from 1/4" steel plate.
